KENNY
BOB DAVIS:
There is no recipe for "talent", but if you took the polish
of Jackie Gleason and the biting country charm of Will Rogers, mix
with Willie Nelson's musical warmth and the energy of General Patton---you
would "almost" have KENNY DAVIS. To his audiences he is
"Everyman" To the entertainment industry, he is unique
and special. Kenny started his career in show business as a guitar
playing folk-singer in the sixties. It was within this atmosphere
that he developed his heightened sense of audience rapport and comedic
interplay. Kenny was raised in Burbank California and played with
his group to packed houses and great reviews for years all over
Southern California while recording two big selling live albums.
Kenny has performed many times at Disneyland, Knott's, and Magic
Mountain. He then moved on to many years of SRO audiences in the
hotels of Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, and Reno Nevada. In 1978, thanks
to Eddie Rabbitt, Kenny started a new phase of his career by becoming
an opening act comedian at the Montana State Fair. Since that time
he has opened in concert for many other stars like Kenny Rogers,
Alabama, and Larry Gatlin. Over the past twenty years, Kenny has
headlined all over the U.S. as a Stand-Up Comedian, or a one-man
corporate show entertainer. Kenny's relationship with Larry Gatlin
and their common love of golf and performing turned Kenny Davis
into "Kenny Bob Davis". Larry also helped him become the
"Golf Comic" as he is now referred to in golfing circles.
He has performed at or been involved in over 250 Charity and PGA
Golf events since 1979. It is a safe bet to conclude that this Comedian,
Musician, Singer, Actor, and Writer is a welcome addition to any
show venue and that Kenny Davis the entertainer is truly unique
in the "showbiz" industry.
MICHAEL PACE:
Facial expressions and punch lines have been compared to Silly Putty
and Sunday comic strips. So it’s no surprise that he has had
audiences across the country laughing in the aisles at The Improv,
The Icehouse and the Comedy Store. Most recently, he can be seen
on HBO’s award winning series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. This
Emmy award nominee (for his work as host on Comic Relief), is hilarious
enough to have opened for top name comedians including Jerry Seinfeld,
Ellen Degeneres and Drew Carey —making him a comedian’s
comedian.
Whether you know it or not, you have probably seen Michael Pace
. Among his credits are his engagements at the original Improvisation
in Hollywood, and all the rest of its satellite clubs from San Francisco
and San Diego to Chicago and Tempe, AZ. You've seen him twice on
A&E's "Evening at the Improv,” as well as on Showtime's
"Comedy Club Network." As a concert act, he's shared the
stage with B.B. King, Natalie Cole and Simply Red. Besides his wit,
what sets Mike apart from the crowd is a pliable face. His facial
expressions are to punch lines what Silly Putty is to Comic Strips.
There is no way an audience won't pick up his point when he starts
rolling his eyes.
TIM HALDEMAN:
There's nothing routine about TIM HALDEMAN. The actor comedian stand-up
comic has performed in over 100 television shows and movies. Among
his many credits are appearances on “The West Wing”,
“Malcolm in the Middle”, “ER”, “Once
and Again”, “The Drew Carey Show”, “Sabrina
the Teenage Witch” and “3rd Rock from the Sun”.
Over the last decade, Haldeman has developed a stand-up routine
that he has performed across the country, including sold-out shows
at the Sahara in Las Vegas and at the Atlantis Hotel in Atlantic
City.
MAX ALEXANDER:
With a plethora of television appearances, including a halt-dozen
appearances on The Tonight Show, Max Alexander's humor is always
a big hit wherever he performs. Max's funny and clean insights into
everyday life have made him a favorite opening act in Las Vegas
and Atlantic City for such stars as Frank Sinatra, Julio Iglesias
and Tom Jones, to name a few. Max's ability to score big laughs
time after time has made him a trusted name when it comes to corporate
shows. Just ask the people at Home Depot, Buick, United Airlines,
PGA, Nestles, Karastan, USO and Universal Pictures. With Max Alexander
you feel like you know him, and that's because you do. Max has appeared
in such movies as PUNCHLINE with Tom Hanks, ROXANNE with Steve Martin,
and TV shows such as Hart to Hart, Doogie Hawser and Matlock. Whether
it be The Tonight Show, opening for stars in Las Vegas, or seeing
Max's face in sitcoms, movies, and national commercials, Max Alexander
will always make you laugh and laugh big.
ALONZO BODDEN:
He's got the power There is nothing, absolutely nothing that would
ever make Alonzo Bodden give up comedy. "That's the drug",
he says "when they laugh it's like I'm a jazz musician and
they hear it, and they get it. It's the power to take the crowd
wherever I want them to go. I love it when they laugh, especially
when they relate through laughter. It's a beautiful thing. It also
means I'm going to get paid, which is nice. "Bodden didn't
always make his living as a standup comic. A graduate of Aviation
High School, for 9 years he earned a paycheck as a jet mechanic
for Lockheed and then McDonnell Douglas. While comics around the
country were making audiences laugh at airline jokes, Bodden was
working on the top secret Stealth Bomber. It was during a stint
as trainer that Alonzo discovered his ability to entertain a group
of people. "I was teaching airplane mechanics when I realized
it was more fun to make them laugh," Bodden explains, "I
was laid off one more time and I never looked back. Although it
was nice to have a steady paycheck and benefits." He enrolled
in a comedy class and the rest as they say, is comedy history. Bodden
has always appreciated the benefits of doing standup comedy, one
of which is having fun on stage. He recalls one of his favorite
experiences, "I was working at the Brea Improv and in the middle
of my set, and a guy had a seizure. After he was carted off by the
paramedics, I went up there, did 10 killer minutes on seizures and
then got back to my set and the show kept rolling. It was great."
PAM MATTESON:
After witnessing Pam Matteson's hysterical vocal impressions and
side-splitting stand-up comedy, one comes away from her performance
wondering exactly which stage, film or television star she does
NOT impersonate. The multi-talented Ms. Matteson has been bringing
down the house at venues across the nation with outrageous imitations
of some of show business' greatest legends, including a duet by
Judy Garland and Goldie Hawn and a raucous rendition of "Rock-A-Bye
Baby" by mother Whitney Houston. Matteson doing Lauper doing
"Girls Just Want to Whine" is a classic, as is Cher's
uproarious "Tongue Aerobics" (complete with barbell!)
Pam brings to each performance a powerful assortment of legendary
theatrical favorites such as Liza Minelli, Bette Davis, Meryl Streep
and Debra Winger, as well as musical favorites Olivia Newton-John,
Bernadette Peters, Pat Benetar And Dionne Warwick to name just a
few.
She has appeared on "The Tonight Show," "An Evening
at the Improv," "Comic Strip Live," Fox's "Sunday
Comics" and Showtime's "Pair of Jokers." Pam Matteson
brings us all the once and future legends, the wild and wacky women
who have filled the screen for the past fifty years. Just think
of her as a sexy, singing, one-woman film festival!
HENRY CHO:
Crowds don’t know what to think when Henry Cho starts talking…a
full blooded Korean with a deep East Tennessee drawl? Yes, it’s
true and he is one of the fastest rising young comedians in the
industry! Henry Cho registers with audiences from coast to coast
with his audio-visual twist and stir-fried homespun material.
Making the most of who Henry is has not been a problem. "I'm
an Asian with a southern accent," remarks Cho. "To a lot
of people, that right there is funny."
Cho, who is Korean American, was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and
went into stand-up comedy in 1986 with the goal of getting into
films. He moved to southern California in 1989 to pursue his career,
but always with the intent of returning to his roots in Tennessee.
"I planned to live in L.A. until I reached a level I was comfortable
with – and then get out of there," comments Cho.
In 1994, after he moved to a farm in Tennessee, Cho got the call
from NBC to host NBC's "Friday Night Videos" which he
did by commuting to L.A. weekly for two years. While in L.A., he
became a regular guest/comedian on such shows as "The Tonight
Show" and "The Arsenio Hall Show."

KENNEY:
Ronny is a 25 year veteran of the Comedy Store, College Concerts
and Comedy clubs all across the nation.. He is also an author, writing
the very funny "COMICS OPEN", about comedians in a golf
event..
He is currently concentrating on corporate events all over the country
as a comedian and motivational speaker.. Ron has performed on all
the talk shows and is known as the best MC/Host in Comedy....while
still being able to headline any venue.. a sure bet...!!
DAVID
GEE:
David Gee has made folks laugh before Bonnie Raitt, The Beach Boys
and Ray Charles concerts. He’s knocked them dead at some of
the most famous comedy clubs around, The Improv, The Friar’s
Club and The Ice House to name just three. Gee has been seen at
grand Las Vegas hotels including Caesar’s Palace and The Mirage
and was voted “Best Comedian in a Production Show” in
Las Vegas for four years in a row. Add to this his appearance at
comedy events with Sid Caesar, Ray Romano, Bob Hope and it’s
easy to see why Gee has kept ‘em in stitches everywhere he
goes.
RALPH
ACHILLES:
Originally a folksinger, Ralph Achilles gained prominence with recordings
of original songs which he recorded with the popular trio the F.A.B.
Company. The group toured colleges nationally, performed in nightclubs
throughout Europe and Asia, and logged in more than 2000 radio commercials.
Achilles has performed on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and

BOB
KUBOTA:
Doesn’t just do comedy mixed with magic. He isn’t interested
in pulling rabbits out of hat, sawing assistants in half or making
Lear jets disappear. He’d rather take small, every day items
(playing cards, coins and dollars, jewelry, or rubber bands) and
right under a person’s nose, in plain sight, perform sleight
of hand that is beyond belief. Kubota has been seen on Evening at
the Improv (A&E), Make Me Laugh (Comedy Central), Stand-Up Spotlight
(VH1) and MTV’s Comedy Hour. In addition, he has performed
extensively throughout the world with the USO Armed Forces Tours.
SHAYMA
TASH:
She got her comic start where many comedy success stories start,
the infamous Hollywood comedy troupe Groundlings. Many will recognize
her from The Best Damn Sports Show Period or the outrageous WB comedy
sketch show HYPE. From Jay Leno’s Tonight Show to Comedy Central’s
The Sweet Spot, Tash’s honest and insightful observations,
amazing impressions and original characters make her an audience
favorite.
FIELDING
WEST:
After 28 years as a master magician and comedian, there is one trick
Fielding West said he's never been able to do well: make a lot of
money.
West's tongue-in-cheek comment belies a successful career that began
in Florida and flourished in Las Vegas.
"When you've been around awhile you look at what you can leave,
not what you can take," West said.
It's one of the reasons why West is performing Saturday in Oceanside
at the annual dinner/dance fund-raiser for Creative Heart Productions,
which is run by his sister, Patricia West-Del Ruth. The event is
being held at Ocean's 11 Casino.
SUSAN
RICE:
Susan Rice is funny, familiar and female. People consider her part
of the family. Rice twists daily conversations and experiences so
that you walk away with a whole new perspective on your own relatives.
Rice, a Pacific Northwest native, began her comedy career in college.
Her love of performing arts began in San Diego then on to Portland,
Oregon, where she worked in banking and pursued her acting. Susan
discovered comedy in a little pub called the Leaky Roof Tavern and
from the moment she stepped on stage she new she had found her career.
For fifteen years she has been a professional stand-up comedian
and has had the privilege of performing in every state of the union
and to every state of mind.
Television appearances include An Evening at the Improv, Comedy
Central, and Comedy Club Network. Comedy Club bookings include Catch
a Rising Star, The Ice House, Indianapolis Comedy Connection, Igby’s,
The Laff Stops, The Improve, and The Laugh Factory.
KAT
SIMMONS:
Kat Simmons is a veteran of the national comedy club circuit. You
may have seen her at The Improv or Catch A Rising Star, or on television's
Comedy Channel, Fox’s Comedy Tonight or on Candid Camera.
She has opened for Tim Allen, Diane Ford and most recently Kenny
Rogers. Kat has a unique talent for combining physical comedy with
real life situations that everyone can relate to. She has been favorably
compared to the masters of the craft, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett.

shares with the audience as though they were all long time friends.
When not on "the road" she produces and hosts her own
show at The Carson Valley Inn in Minden, Nevada, called Comedy Night
Live. She'll celebrate her tenth anniversary for this popular home
based show this year.
MIKE
DUGAN:
Expanding upon his solo comedy show - hailed by the San Francisco
Bay Times as
“a funny, incisive, one-man journey to enlightenment”
- comedian Mike Dugan explores the obstacles to achieving romantic
love and intimacy in our current culture of drive-by relationships
and push-button porn. It’s Man vs. his Sex Drive in a winner-take-all
cage match.
The title of the book answers the question, “Why do women
fake orgasm?” But Dugan asks us to consider that perhaps foreplay
is much more than what a man does in the moments before intercourse.
What begins as a simple attempt to “figure women out”
quickly shifts into a humorous and insightful tour of a man’s
psyche as he considers the influences that shape a man’s character.
DAVE
ANDERSON:
Want to leave your audience laughing and begging for more? Open
or close your next event with one of the country’s most sought
after corporate comedians. Dave Anderson is a veteran of numerous
conventions, television shows, and comedy clubs across America.
He has an amazing ability to blend clean, intelligent material with
audience interaction to create a show that is truly one of a kind.
Rite-Aid put it best when they said, “His ability to interact
with the audience makes his stand-up routine special and unexpected…”
Dave Anderson’s extensive writing experience and lightning
quick wit allows him to tailor his performance to the group he's
entertaining. Each presentation feels like it was written for just
that event. And in a way, it is.
The audience plays a major role in Dave's show. He involves them
easily and quickly, cashing in on the spontaneity of each moment.
His unique ability to turn ordinary conversations into hilarious
comedy routines, while remaining clean and inoffensive, has earned
him a reputation as one of the country’s best corporate entertainers.
Tektronix said, "Dave fit in like he's known us and our project
for years..."
Dave Anderson is true professional who is requested back time and
time again. AT&T Wireless asked him back seven times! Marsh
has used him three times and rated him "Excellent" each
time. Fleming Foods used him twice and rated him "Excellent,"
and said, "He made the audience feel that he knew them personally..."
Find out for yourself why Willamette Week says, "Dave Anderson
ad-libs better than most comedians write." BENNY
RICARDO:
When Benny Ricardo takes the stage, members of the audience may
recognize his voice in between their shouts of laughter. After covering
sports on San Diego radio for some time, Ricardo now announces all
Monday Night Football games in Spanish for Westwood One Radio. He
can also be heard calling the NFL playoff games and the Super Bowl
for Westwood One. He must have been one very funny place kicker
during his 11 years in the NFL. Ricardo has been playing comedy
clubs across the country for decades including the Playboy Club
and has opened for Judy Tenuta as well as other well-known comedians.
